Welcome to the Zeta Tau chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Delaware!

Welcome to the Zeta Tau chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Delaware! Since 1995, our chapter has grown and prospered as a member of the Greek community on campus.  From philanthropy events to sisterhood retreats, members are provided limitless opportunities to develop into the Leading Women Kappa Alpha Theta allows them to become. Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek letter fraternity known among women founded in 1870 at DePauw University with the idea that providing women a support system as they discover their confidence and abilities will enable them to become the leaders of tomorrow.

This idea of support is at the core of our chapter. The bonds of sisterhood and friendship are the foundation that helps our chapter be the best it can be. Maybe it’s someone to grab dinner or coffee with or someone to join you for a long night in the library or maybe even the person you call at the end of a long day; having someone to do any of these things with makes it easy to achieve all that we have as a chapter. We have one of the highest CAP scores on campus in addition to the third highest sorority GPA. Each year we continue to improve the amount of philanthropic support we are able to provide to CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and also the B+ Foundation through our engagement in UDance. And with all of that our members are also involved in and leaders of various student organizations, ambassador programs, and educational programs. I am so proud to be apart of such a wonderful organization who never ceases to amaze me with all that they are capable of.

I didn’t know what to expect when I decided to go through Recruitment. I was nervous and excited and had no idea what to expect. I didn’t know that becoming a member of this chapter would change my life in so many ways. I am forever grateful for every laugh I have shared, for every memory I have made, and for all the lessons I have learned along the way. Kappa Alpha Theta is truly a wonderful organization and my hope is that all our chapter’s members are able to share in all that it has to offer. Thank you for visiting our website and please take a look around to learn more about our incredible chapter!
